I hope you all like the new style of our web pages, I thought that after over two years of the same type of thing, it was time to try a new approach, some of the photos may be the same but hopefully there will be something for everyone, I will not be doing a new Pueblo every month, rather I will be taking pictures as and where we are at the time, I sppose some people may think of it as a Blogg (but not on a daily basis).
This part of Spain is the real Spain, where pedestrians & donkeys take preference over vehicles, and manana is soon enough for most things, the people speak a different dialect of Spanish than any other part of Spain, (its like a Glaswegian trying to talk to a Cockney), so your schoolroom Spanish is totally different, as is the way of life, itīs much more laid back.
These pages are for the benefits of our families and friends, they are in no way designed to either persuade, or entice people to live in this part of Spain.
We love this part of Spain and also its people, who are in the majority of cases honest, polite, and very friendly, we have made quite a few new friends since we have been here, mostly people who came to live here after we had settled here.
I hope that they will be of some benefit to someone, and should you have any comments, suggestions, or questions, that you would like to ask either my wife Ann or myself, there is the opportunity do so on the contacts page.
Because I do not intend to feature a different Pueblo each month, should anyone want to know anything special, or information on anywhere in particular contact me and I will do what I can to oblige, and fit it in the next time I update the site.
